Conclusion

       With laura being an employee of the company, it made everything much easier to analyze. Not only did we find out what information systems were used, but Laura got to see them being used on the job. Vin Solutions is a well known information system used by automotive industries. Even though there are many other information systems being used at dealerships, Vin Solutions happens to be the most popular because it has access to all of our previous, new and future customers. Sales representatives are now able to use Vin Solutions on there smart phone because they created an application  so that Sales representatives can contact there customers outside of work or on a lunch break and even if the system is down on the computer. The app for Vin Solutions is known as "Vin Connect". If an employee does not have a smart phone or if Vin Solutions is down, they can use Reynolds to access customer information.  Reynolds also holds financial information which Vin Solutions does not.  Having these programs is a competitive advantage for the company. Route 23 Honda also markets the company very well on Facebook almost everyday. They put up ads of new inventory and also new specials from the dealership! Overall, we learned about all of the information systems being used by the company and how they work. We also learned that there can be recommendations made such as finding solutions to solve the problems throughout the company.
